TIMEFRAME: 30 minutes - 1 hour

Once you get in touch, the first thing I will do is book in a time for a consultation. This can be in person (if you’re local to the Brisbane area), over the phone or even email, if you’re shy.

The goal of this conversation is for us to get to know each other, to understand your style and what you’re envisioning.

I also aim to answer the following prompts:

1. Do you have any design ideas or inspiration? This is when you should bring along any saved photos, heirloom bits and bobs, and napkin sketches.


2. Do you have a desired timeframe for your custom piece? The design and production time for jewellery can vary, so this is best to know up front. 


3. Have you considered a budget? I will give a ballpark price guide if I’m able to.


4. What’s your preferred form of communication? This is especially important for sneaky people who want to avoid prying eyes.


TIMEFRAME: 3-7 days post-consult

After our consult, I will get in touch with a price guide or a quote. This usually will take a couple of days, or a week at most.

For more complex pieces, or upon request, I will supply a sketch at this stage to assist with visualisation and design communication.

What is a price guide? This is used when the bespoke piece requires further design or stone sourcing. I find it helpful to use to discuss comfortable budgets and feasible ideas.

How is this different to a quote? Your quote will be a finalised price for a specific design or to lock in a specific stone. These will be valid for 7 days (unless otherwise specified) due to fluctuations in material costs.

TIMEFRAME: 1-2 weeks

Once we’re aligned on the design and you’re feeling comfortable with the budget, we’ll move onto the next phase!

This phase is when I will source any feature stones and show you options. This is one of my favourite parts!

When we’ve found a stone that you’re in LOVE with and/or you’re ready to go ahead with your bespoke piece, I will ask for a 50% deposit. This allows me to commence manufacturing and will lock in you stone/s.

TIMEFRAME: 1-6 weeks

This is my other favourite part! I will be busy working away in the workshop.

The timeframes for this stage will also vary, depending on the design and what is required. Details like stone setting, engraving or other components that depend on external suppliers are what tend to impact this timeline.

You will receive an approximate completion date once your deposit has cleared. You likely won’t hear from me again until your piece is finished!

At that point we will arrange a collection time (when the remaining balance is payable) or I will send photos/videos of the piece and request the final balance bfore postage.
